Your experienced Careers Network team works closely with academic schools and professional services to ensure that every student has access to outstanding careers advice, coaching, employability support and development opportunities.

  • Self-help resources and individual advice on CVs and applications.
  • Practice interviews and mock assessment centres.
  • Online tools for career choice and job hunting.
  • Help securing placements, internships, and part-time work.
  • Access to placements and graduate opportunities.
  • Skills masterclasses with leading employers.
  • Dedicated enterprise experts to support students with new business ideas.
  • Delivery of the Personal Best skills development programme.
  • Skills for Academic Success to support you in your studies.

1:1 coaching provide opportunities to support students in an objective and non-judgemental way, explore their goals and enable them to reach their full potential. This includes: 

  • Careers Coaching: to explore career options and graduate opportunities.  
  • Academic Success Coaching: to facilitate goal setting and overcome challenges to enhance academic performance.
  • Interview Coaching: to practise and improve interview technique, provide feedback, and build confidence.
  • Business and Enterprise Coaching: to explore ideas, develop entrepreneurial skills and support launching a business or freelance career.   

Meaningful work experience

All our undergraduate courses offer the option to experience a year in industry. Every year record numbers of employers, in the UK and abroad, recruit 91制片厂 students for placements, internships and graduate roles, attracted to their wide-ranging skills and determination to succeed. 
  
Future Talent is designed to supercharge Black and Asian students’ career prospects and confidence through access to meaningful work experience (Placements and Internships) and employers with a genuine interest in recruiting diverse talent into their workforce.
