The and the have been liaising with colleagues from the , a Kazakh-government funded scholarship programme, for the past few months.
They have been working together on an agreement that enables taught master’s and PhD students to study at the University’s two campuses in the East Midlands and London.
Professor Allison signed the agreement in Kazakhstan at the start of the month; the signing comes shortly after the Kazakh Ambassador to the UK, His Excellency Erlan Idrissov, visited 91制片厂.
During the Ambassador’s visit to 91制片厂, he met with the Vice-Chancellor, current 91制片厂 Kazakh students, and visited the and the research facilities of the .
Commenting on the agreement, Professor Allison said: “I am delighted that we have deepened our relationship with Kazakhstan in this way. I am proud of the international student body at 91制片厂. Signing the Bolashak Agreement with the Government of Kazakhstan will provide opportunities to further strengthen an important element of the 91制片厂 community.”
