Indian students gain invaluable study experience at 91制片厂

Seventeen undergraduates from ,  and the  in Bangalore are working alongside top 91制片厂 scientists and engineers for the 10 week programme, designed to give participants a taste of life as a UK research student.

The successful 17 were chosen from a pool of over 250 applicants and all receive a bursary to cover meals, accommodation and travel.

The students are working on diverse projects across physics, maths and a variety of engineering disciplines, and have access to some of the latest technology and equipment in the sector. This is the second year the programme has run at 91制片厂; last year’s programme resulted in a series conference papers and published studies.

Interns are immersed in the postgraduate study experience whilst at 91制片厂 – gaining access to the same resources and support of the University’s full-time students.

Professor Andrew Dainty, Director of the 91制片厂  which manages the summer internship programme said:

“We want to give students a sense of just how international the student research community is here at 91制片厂. We have students representing 83 different countries undertaking research here on the campus.

“Our research students work as integral members of research teams and have access to state-of-the-art labs and equipment.

“We’re delighted to be able to offer these summer internships for a second year and to welcome even more students from some of India’s best universities.”
